Public Speaking talk by MS.Thulasi Vikneswaran was organised for all the students who had Public Speaking in their course.The title of the talk was A- Dressing the "Modern Workplace".This talk was 2 hours long and we all were told to be in a smart casual attire.

The speaker basically told us about the dressing ideas and the mandatory dressing we need to do for going to an interview.She told us about variety of clothing ideas and the courtesy such as how formally we have to behave and how the interview is gonna be.

​

She called 3-4 students from the audience and asked them to judge and say what is wrong with their attire.The speaker than showed us few pictures to explain what is completely prohibited for a work place such as revealing clothes, untidy unironed shirt, very short tie etc.

​

She also suggested us few places to buy the formal or smart casual clothes at affordable price and also how we can use same shirt with different bottoms such as skirt, pants.She also told us how to dressup for different body sizes such as for plus size girls.

This talk helped me a lot to increase my knowledge of the attire worn in work place and corporate world.
